We’re just weeks away from launching a benchmark season for Haunted Houses in Nashville. Last year we were thrilled with the turn out, and this year will be bigger, scarier, and have more haunting action that might make you wet your pants. This year, we’ll be launching something not seen often in haunted houses in Nashville, you’ll be seeing some 3D section that will shock and amaze you.

Devil’s Dungeon is just across the river from downtown, minutes off the interstate, and right next to the Titans Stadium. What that means for you, above other Haunted Houses in Nashville, we’re easy to get to, offer plenty of parking on the street, and you can get in and out without having to worry about paying for a parking spot, walking 6 blocks to get to the door.

We’re also happy to announce that we’re hosting some bands this year. The Horror Vacui will be headlining with a few other bands that will be announced in the coming weeks. We’re bringing in food trucks so that the only thing rumbling in your belly are the butterflies.

It requires months of planning and building that keeps us hard at work throughout the year testing out different ideas and studying new techniques that make your experience one that will keep you on your toes. We also try and get your feedback. A lot of the time, throughout the year, we’ll ask our facebook audience questions about what they saw in other Haunted Houses in Nashville that they really liked and we do our best to incorporate them into ours.

Another thing we do that is different than other Haunted Houses in Nashville is our cast. We have GREAT actors that come back year after year. Dedication to this might seem silly, but we have actors that have worked with us for over a decade. The actors truly enjoy showing up to work each night and build a commitment to their work. With this, that extra effort is evident in how well they do their job. The commitment begins in early august with casting and takes up quite a bit of time for each actor.

We have had to do quite a bit of research to make sure we’re bringing you the best choices. Seriously, I take this part of the job VERY seriously. Luckily, the boss man is funding my market research. But it’s serious work. I mean it. You think I enjoy biting into a delicious hamburger with perfectly fried french fries smothered in that sweet nectar of the gods they call ketchup and washing it all down with a bubbly fresh and chilled coke? No way man, I take my job way too serious to fall for those shenanigans.

In years past, Nashville Haunted Houses have attempted to simulate 3D experiences. This year, we’ve taken that attempt to a whole new level with Chromadepth 3D. A portion of our haunted house will be devoted to a 3D experience that will trick your eyes into thinking that what you see is in your face. You’ll see a room that will disorient you into not knowing how close or far away thins are from you. It’s Nashville’s FIRST true 3D Haunted House and we’re damn proud of how it’s turned out.

When you go through line this year, you’ll be handed a pair of special 3D glasses to wear through a specific portion of the haunted house. When you reach the section of the haunted house that has the 3D effects, you’ll be notified to put on the glasses. At this point, your brain will begin to play tricks on you. You won’t have any idea how close or far something is away from you.

We’re not pulling your leg. Nashville Haunted houses have tried this before. They just shine a light on something and call it 3D. We’ve actually used special techniques that require specific paints, black lights, and special 3D glasses. When you look through the glasses, you truly don’t understand what you’re seeing!
